Policy on Academic Counsellors

The Department of Petroleum Engineering has introduced the Academic Counsellors in addition to the designated Class Advisors. Each designated Academic Counselor is assigned a batch of students to advice and counsel them regarding academic and career matters. The designated Academic Counsellor will also provide assistance to the students in managing their health, financial, stress, emotional and spiritual problems.

The Academic Counsellors will be monitoring and reviewing the progress of the students throughout their study period. The students are required to meet their designated Academic Counsellors once every two weeks. Academic Counsellors will be the first point of contact for students, followed by Class Advisors and Chairman of the Department.
